Primary Purpose of the Job:
- At departmental level, participate, capture, analyze and integrate project data and market information in order to evaluate and implement the project strategy and provide the analytical basis to support decisions in the development and implementation of multi-billion dollar downstream Joint Ventures and Overseas Investments.
- Develop, use and modify models to support project evaluation and to assess business risks and their impact on QP projects. The position is mandated to screen potential partners, analyze investment projects analyze market conditions and evaluate opportunities to maximize return on investment and partnership success The position specializes in developing and using business models, evaluating financial risk, preparing financial forecasts, financing scenarios, accessing and supporting the development of refining, petrochemical and manufacturing markets and business opportunities that monetize feedstock and natural gas natural reserves as well as business acquisition and international investment. As such, the position supports the departments’ leadership and accountability in developing these opportunities and other requirements.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Petroleum/Chemical Engineering/Economics with strong awareness of Economics and Business Development is required.
- An advanced degree is advantageous (e.g., Masters in Business, Economics, etc.).
